Partnering with the incredibly talented Toronto illustrator, Alexis Young, the illustrations are intentionally vibrant and grand, drawing you into a world of love and tenderness. With hidden nooks to explore and soothing colour palettes, every page feels comforting and magical.
When it all comes down to it, we must love. This is how we make it through the world with softness. To see love. To be love. To let it guide our words, our choices, and our stories.
Katelyn is a writer and mother whose words speak to the in-between spaces - where healing, remembrance, and every day magic live. Through poetry, presence and spiritual reflection, she invites others to soften, trust and live from the heart. Her work is a quiet rebellion against fear and a gentle return to truth. All rooted in presence, emotion and the beauty of simply being human.
This trilogy is the first of what Katelyn hopes to be many. A diverse set of stories are in her future plans!

There You Are
is a tender celebration of presence, purpose, and the quiet magic found in everyday moments. Set in a cozy autumn world of golden leaves, tiny tunnels, and two curious mice, this story captures the way love shows up; in shared laughter, soft promises, and the gentle act of simply being there. It’s a heartfelt close to the series, reminding us that love, once given, is never lost.
